קצין צה"ל נוגח בפניו של נער בן 17 בחברון*

ביום ד', 25.7.2012, בערב, תיעד מתנדב בפרויקט "חמושים במצלמות" של בצלם, זידאן שרבתי, מחלון ביתו חייל המעכב מספר נערים פלסטינים במחסום בית הדסה בחברון. החייל הורה לנערים להמתין לצד הקיר. בצילום נראה כי אחד הנערים, ת'אאר ע'נאים, בן ה-17, מתווכח עם החייל ואוחז בידו, לאחר שהחייל דרש מהנערים תעודות זהות. 

ענ'אם מסר כי לאחר המתנה של מספר דקות (שבמהלכה מתנדב בצלם הפסיק את הצילום, ולכן לא תועדה בווידיאו) הגיע אל המקום קצין בדרגת סגן, שדחף אותו. ע'נאם אמר שניסה להדוף מעליו את הקצין. כאשר מתחדש הצילום נראה הקצין אוחז בנער ולוקח אותו עמו בכוח במורד הרחוב, תוך שהוא נוגח בפניו. הקצין נראה אז בווידיאו כשהוא ממשיך לתקוף את ע'נאים, והולך יחד עמו במעלה הרחוב. 

הצלם ירד לרחוב וחידש את הצילום, אז נראה הקצין לאחר שעצר את ע'נאים וכפת את ידיו, מוביל אותו לרכב צבאי. 
ע'נאים הועבר לבסיס הצבא ברחוב א-שוהדא ושוחרר כעבור זמן קצר. הוא פנה לטיפול בביה"ח הממשלתי עאליה בחברון, שם אובחן אצלו שבר באף.

ארגון בצלם דיווח על האירוע לדובר צה"ל והעביר לידיו את תיעוד הווידיאו. החומר אמור היה להיות מועבר גם למשטרה צבאית חוקרת (מצ"ח) עם הדרישה לפתוח בחקירת האירוע.

IDF Officer headbutts Palestinian youth

Zidan Sharabati, a volunteer in B'Tselem's camera distribution project, documented from his window a soldier detaining a number of Palestinian youths. The incident occurred at the military checkpoint near the Beit Hadassah settlement in HebronCityCenter (H2 area). The soldier ordered the youths to wait by the side of the street. The video shows one of the youths, 17 year old Thair Ghanaem, arguing with the soldier and holding his arm, after the soldier asked the youths to present their ID cards.

Today Ghanaem told B'Tselem's field worker that after waiting a few minutes, an officer arrived at the scene, and pushed him. Ghanaem said that he tried to push the officer off him. [Please note: the volunteer stopped recording while the youths were standing by the wall, so this was not documented.]

Then, the video shows the officer holding the youth and taking him by force up the street, then head-butting him. The officer is then seen continuing to assault Ghanaem and when he releases the youth, both disappear walking up the road.

B'Tselem's videographer then went outside and renewed filming. The officer is seen leading Ghanaem, whose hands are tied, down the street and into a military vehicle.

He was taken to the military base on a-Shuhada street and released shortly after. Following his release Ghanaem went to 'Aliya hospital in Hebron, where the doctors diagnosed a broken nose.
B'Tselem reported the incident to the IDF spokesperson's office and the Military Police Investigative Division (MPID).
